Board Members Make a Presentation at the Parks and Rec Committee.  November 27, 2007

Wilder Park Neighborhood Association presented to the Green Bay Park and Recreation Committee their proposal, along with the  plans and artist's rendition, to build the Arnie Wolff's Fireman Monument at Wilder Park.

The Monument will be a 14 foot tall steel memorial. On the front would be a bronze firefighter's helmet and a plaque with Arnie Wolff's picture on it. The artist (whose works can be found around the country) has promised to donate his time to build the memorial. (Approximately 6 months.)

The Association needs to raise about 14 thousand dollars to pay for the materials and adjoining garden.  The Association is hoping to dedicate the memorial in May 2008.  See More About the Memorial and Where You Can Donate.
